This is a rare opportunity for a Pensions Associate (2-5 PQE) to join a growing, award winning pensions advisory practice at a leading international law firm.
The Opportunity
You'll join a genuine advisory practice rather than a corporate support function, working with trustees, employers, charities, institutions, master trusts, high net worth individuals and public bodies. The team is highly ranked in the Legal 500 for both advisory and pensions disputes work, resulting in a team that has grown significantly in recent years.
The pensions practice is the firm's leading team for AI and innovation. If you have a view on how pensions practice should evolve, there's real appetite for that conversation and a chance to shape how the team works.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and draft clear, technically sound legal advice on non contentious pensions matters.
- Liaise directly with clients and support partners in managing those relationships.
- Analyse facts and apply current law to give practical, commercial advice.
- Conduct legal research using internal and external knowledge resources.
- Attend business development and profile raising events, including client seminars.
- Build an internal and external network and contribute to the profile of the team.
About You
You are an England and Wales qualified lawyer with a foundation in UK pensions (circa 2-5 PQE) alongside the following experience:
- A genuine interest in non contentious pensions work.
- A proactive approach to clients, colleagues and your own development.
- A willingness to work with new technology and new ways of working.
- The ability to meet client and internal deadlines consistently.
- Ambition to progress your career over the coming years.
