An opportunity has arisen for a Civil Litigation Solicitor to join a well-regarded boutique law firm based in London. The role sits within a highly experienced disputes team known for handling complex and high-value civil litigation matters.

 

The Firm

This specialist litigation practice has built a strong reputation for advising individuals and organisations on a wide range of contentious matters. The team handles a varied caseload of medium to high-value disputes and is known for delivering strategic and commercially focused advice.

The firm offers a collaborative and supportive environment with exposure to high quality work and direct involvement in complex cases.

 

The Role

You will manage cases from initial instruction through to conclusion while supporting partners on larger disputes. The role will involve working closely with clients and external advisers across a broad range of civil litigation matters.

 

Typical work is likely to include:

  • Professional negligence disputes
  • Property ownership disputes
  • Fiduciary disputes
  • Contractual disputes

 

The role will involve attending hearings, negotiating settlements, liaising with clients and counsel, and ensuring compliance with CPR and court procedures. You will also have opportunities to support business development initiatives and contribute to the growth of the practice.

 

The Requirements

  • The successful candidate will be a qualified solicitor with approximately 2–5 years’ PQE and experience in civil litigation within a reputable firm.
  • Strong knowledge of CPR, excellent analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters effectively will be important.
  • This role would suit a solicitor looking to develop their disputes practice within a specialist litigation environment.
