Senior Associate – Projects, Development & Construction

The Role

You will focus on non-contentious construction, working across major development and regeneration projects. The role will involve drafting and negotiating a broad range of construction and engineering documentation, likely including:

• Building contracts
• Professional appointments
• Collateral warranties
• Development agreements
• Procurement documentation
• Construction security and ancillary documents

You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers while also taking responsibility for your own matters and client relationships. The work is varied, high-value and often part of large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams.

The Requirements

The successful candidate will:

• Have at least 5 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction
• Be confident drafting and negotiating standard form and bespoke contracts
• Possess strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills
• Enjoy collaborating on major development, infrastructure and real estate projects
