Pensions Associate (0–5 PQE)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a 0-5 PQE Pensions Associate to join a leading international law firm in London. The successful candidate will be part of a highly regarded Pensions team, working on a broad mix of advisory, transactional and contentious matters.
The Role
This position offers exposure to the full spectrum of pensions work, including:

Advising employers, trustees, and financial institutions on occupational pension schemes

Handling defined benefit scheme funding, restructurings and wind-ups

Advising on scheme mergers and regulatory issues

Supporting pensions aspects of corporate transactions, insolvencies and disputes

Contributing to innovative risk and liability management strategies
This is a pensions-specific role; there is no requirement to lead on employment or incentives matters.
Candidate Profile
The firm is looking for someone with:

Strong academic credentials (minimum 2:1 degree)

0–5 years' post-qualification experience in pensions law

Experience gained at a well-regarded City or regional law firm with a recognised pensions practice

A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and excellent communication skills
The Team
