The Team
You’ll be joining a well-established Employment practice, comprising 30+ lawyers. The wider team includes specialists in immigration, pensions, regulatory, and corporate law, offering a rich, multidisciplinary environment with over 60 fee-earners firmwide.
The Role
This role offers a balanced caseload of both claimant and respondent work. On the employee side, you’ll advise senior professionals on complex issues including grievances, disciplinary actions, performance management, discrimination, whistleblowing, and high-stakes litigation in both the Employment Tribunal and High Court.
For employer clients—ranging from household names in tech, retail, and pharma to major financial institutions—you’ll provide strategic counsel on day-to-day HR matters, contracts and policies, reorganisations, and business transfers.
You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior lawyers, contributing to a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth.

What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 6 years’ post-qualification experience in employment law.
- Strong background in either claimant or respondent work (or both).
- Proven experience in Employment Tribunal and High Court litigation.
- Excellent communication, drafting, and client care skills.
- Highly organised with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Comfortable managing your own files and admin in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-savvy with confidence using Microsoft Office and legal software.
