The Team

It is the largest team at the firm and you can look forward to joining a team of paralegals and supporting the associates and partners on a wide range of funds work.

Clients include US, European and international financial institutions, PE firms, hedge funds, family offices and institutional investors.

The Role

You can look forward to assisting on all aspects of funds and other investment vehicles including fund formation, structuring companies and compensation arrangements, spin-outs, seeding and stakes transactions, documentation of prime brokerage and other trading arrangements.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Drafting fund related documents
• Reviewing subscription agreements for fund investments
• Preparing closing bibles
• Assisting with the calculation of investment amounts
• Liaising with other offices, foreign counsel and clients directly
• Managing files and documents
• Proofreading
• Requesting and reviewing searches
• Legal and company research

The Requirements

• Strong academics
• Law Degree/GDL
• LPC / SQE 2 preferred
• Funds paralegal or asset management experience is preferred
• Corporate paralegal, finance, private equity or similar also considered
