An excellent opportunity has arisen at a law firm based near London Bridge for a Trainee Corporate Receptionist. 

The Role  

You will be working closely with the Receptionists to look after all visitors, making sure the meeting rooms are neat and tidy, providing tea and coffee (and biscuits!), and taking their coats and bags.  

You will also be trained to use the telephone system, to answer calls, and to use the switchboard to transfer calls to the relevant person. With time you will take on responsibility for ordering stationary, managing deliveries, dealing with couriers and arranging taxi’s. 

There will also be the opportunity to help with events, with ordering food and drink, and helping set it up so it looks attractive to guests.  

The Requirements 

This role would suit someone who has good grades at GCSE and strong customer service skills. They will be looking for someone who can demonstrate strong customer service skills, ideally you will have been in a similar role at a small local company wanting to work in the City, or maybe you have experience working as a waiter or waitress, in retail as a shop assistant and are very keen to start your career as a receptionist.  

Excellent communication skills are key, and you will need to enjoy meeting people on a daily basis, and be organised and self motivated.
