Position Title: Corporate & Commercial Solicitor / Associate 2+ PQE
Overview
A well-regarded UK law firm is looking to appoint a Corporate & Commercial solicitor or associate (2+ PQE) to its corporate and commercial team. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a supportive environment where the successful candidate will be encouraged to develop their skills, take on meaningful responsibility, and progress within the practice.
Location: Southampton
The firm is situated in a well-connected commercial centre in the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting clients and colleagues across a broad spectrum of corporate and commercial matters, including drafting agreements, advising on transactions, and supporting ongoing business needs.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships through clear, collaborative, and professional communication.
- Contributing to larger transactions by undertaking research, due diligence, and other project support.
- Engaging in the wider life of the team, offering input, sharing ideas, and supporting colleagues to achieve collective goals.
Candidate Profile
- Qualified corporate & commercial solicitor with 2+ PQE experience.
- Collaborative and people-focused, with the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
- Careful and precise in approach, with the ability to explain technical matters in an accessible way.
- Adaptable, eager to learn, and comfortable taking on new challenges.
