Patent Secretary

An amazing opportunity has arisen to work in a Top-Tier IP law firm specialising in patent and trademarks as a patent secretary. This is a full-time, permanent position based in one of the most iconic buildings in London, ‘The Shard’.

The Firm

They are one of the best IP firms in Europe and the UK who provide legal advice on protecting inventions and trademarks. They have a strong clientele in the sectors media and entertainment, pharmaceutical, aerospace, social media, technology and electronics.

The firm have embraced hybrid working and you will be able to work 2/3 days a week from home.

The Team

You will be supporting a senior partner who is named in Chambers and The Legal 500 and who is well liked within the firm. You will become an integral part of the team and also have the support of the central patent secretarial team.

The Role

You will be working with clients directly, while supporting the Patent attorneys and fee earners in their day to day tasks. In addition, this job offers high levels of autonomy which allows you to be in charge of your own work. For the right person patent paralegal duties may also be included in the role.

The Requirements

As it is a high profile role, previous experience as a Patent Secretary is a must. Other than that if you think you have good organizational skills, effective time management strategies, attention to detail and strong communication skills this is an amazing opportunity for you!
