Paralegal - Funds
An excellent opportunity has arisen with a top US firm for a paralegal to join the funds team.
The firm is top tier and has offices all over the US and Europe. The London office is the hub of the European market and is mid-sized, meaning it has the best of both worlds - the friendly feel of a mid-sized firm, but handling the work of the biggest firms.
They are growing and with that they have increased the number of trainees they take on. In the past two years, a number of their trainees have been offered the roles while paralegals at the firm, and so for the right candidate there is opportunity to progress to a training contract with the firm.
A team of around 20 in London, the funds practice acts for a range of clients from the largest, most well established players through to emerging participants. From multi-billion dollar finds to funds for emerging clients, the work is wide ranging and interesting.
As one of two paralegals in the funds team you can look forward to working closely with the associates and partners and having a high level of responsibility, more akin to that of a trainee.
You will focus on private investment funds including infrastructure funds, real estate funds, debt funds, special situations funds and hedge funds. You will also get the chance to work with major pensions funds
Duties of the funds paralegal may include:
- Preparing agreements and documentation for new investment vehicles

Experience as a funds paralegal at a comparable US or city law firm is essential as you will have a high level of responsibility from day one.
